Tea Party

Today we had the girls little tea party.  I sent the girls upstairs to get dressed, and they came down like this...Gabby in a princess dress, and Charley wearing her "heals" and she had redone her hair.  They are both just getting so big.  ....Dani was taking a nap.

I think this tea set is just beautiful!
Gabby invited her little friend Alivia.

And Charley invited her friend Bella.  They are sisters that live across the street.
We really didn't have a reason for this little tea party, we just wanted to have one.  I admit, I only put the fun stuff on my blog.  Our life isn't just princesses and tea parties.  The girls get in trouble, I often get frustrated and yell. We are normally busy rushing off to pick up kids for carpool, working with Charley with her homework, taking Gabby to playgroup or having preschool, taking girls to dance, making meals, taking naps, chasing Dani out of the kitchen doors, doing chores, and playing outside.  But when the girls get older, I want them to remember the fun stuff.  I want them to remember their little tea parties and trips to the Dinosaur Museum, or date nights with dad.  So, today we made special, and I hope they remember it.

I have been to the TP farm many times, but have never noticed this sign before today....kinda made me laugh.

This past year, I have been doing a pre-school with Gabby and our neighbor Alivia.  Today we decided to go on a little field trip....to the Farm!  It was a little cold, but it was fun! Dani has been learning the animal sounds, so it was really cute to hear her....she was a little scared of the cows and horses, but loved the chickens and ducks.  You will have to ask her to say them....it is so cute!

Easter Eggs

For FHE the Monday before Easter, we normally dye eggs.  It is a fun thing that we have always done with the girls. And it is fun to eat through out the week.

Practice Tea Party

Aunt Kay gave the girls her special tea set a few months back. It was given to her by her mother, Dorene Ewing in 1966.  But she wanted it to be used, not just looked at. So we decided that this week we are going to have a fancy party and invite a few of the girls friends for an official tea party.  But we needed some practice since the tea set is breakable.  So today we had a 'practice' tea party.  The girls learned all about how to stick out their pinky, and talk in an English accent.  ......well, it was more of just me talking in a really horrible English accent. The girls just thought I was weird. Ben even joined in....but he put Dr. Pepper in his cup!

This is what happens when you have 3 little girls!

Bunheads

Charley and Gabby had their first dance class today!!!  They came out of class excited to go next week! And I think they look SUPER CUTE in their dance gear.  However, according to Gabby it is her "leoHEART" instead of leotard....and I can't convince her otherwise!

We are taking them to our friends Wendy's class. The girls know her, so they wouldn't be shy about dancing for her.

There are some pictures I take where it looks like Charley is 10 years old?!  I guess she is growing up, but I just don't want to believe it. ....but these pictures, I think she looks a lot older than she really is?....or is it just me?  And then there is Gabby....miss Sassy pants!

LasVegas

We had so much fun this weekend, I forgot to take out my camera....it was that good!  And part of the reason why it was so dang fun, was because we didn't have to pay for any of it!...well, except gas to get down there!

Last year, Ben's department at work reached one of their big goals.  So as a reward, his department and spouses were treated to a fun weekend in Las Vegas.  The weekend included our hotel suite at Vdara, a Cirque du Soleil show, "O", at the Belagio. The guys were all taken to play golf, while the wives went shopping. We had dinner at the Buffet at the Aria, and at this YUMMY Thai place off the strip.  And after dinner one night Ben's boss was feeling extra generous, and we all went and got Chineese massages!  it was so nice!  After dinner Ben went with some of the guys and did the rides at the top of the Stratosphere.

It was so much fun. And it was great knowing the girls were safe with my sister Lexi!  ....and my brother too, he came up to help.

While we were there we were also able to video chat with all of Ben's family when his parents opened their mission call to Chili!!!!  They leave July 1st.  It is going to be a hard week for us.  Schramma & Schrammpa leave July 1st to the Provo MTC, and 2 days later on the 3rd my little sister goes to the MTC for Argentina.  Ruben is starting his papers, so we'll have to see where he goes, but what a sad, but great summer for missions all over the world.  They will be getting some great people!

We left early this morning to try and make it back to our church....which starts at 2:30p....yuckiest time ever!  Plus we didn't get a sub for our nursery.  With having to hurry back home and get back into things so quick, the weekend already seems like a long time ago.  But it is back to work in the morning....and school, and volunteering at the school, and diapers and dishes.  It was a fun weekend, but I am glad to be home to the craziness.  It is good to get away every once in a while. And I am glad we did.
