School Shopping~Charley

Today was Charley's one-on-one day for Back to School Shopping!!!  Ben had a golf tournament this morning so we decided that I would take her shopping first, then meet Ben up for dinner. While we were at dinner I asked Charley what her favorite thing was that she did this summer, she said going to the beach house with Schramma and today.  We do this every year, and in a few weeks it will be Gabby's turn for the first time!

For the last few years Charley has really wanted Twinkle Toe shoes.  But they are expensive!  But the outlets by our house has a Sketchers store!!  And today they were having a huge back to school sale, and if you bought one, you got the other one half off.  So I got Gabby a pair too.

We had a little fashion show for daddy, and Gabby and Dani had to join in.  Gabby is a ham.

And Dani is hilarious!....

But, Charley is ready for school.... 1st grade to be exact!!  She is all set with her new shoes, shirts, jeans, Hello Kitty lunch box and notebooks.  She is going home to Nebraska with my sister Jordan in a few days, and will come back with my parents when they bring Ruben out to the MTC, right before school starts.  She is so excited to go all by herself.  She is getting so big!

Today was so much fun!  I love spending time with my Big Girl!  It was a fun day with just us!

You Arrrrrrr Invited....

To Gabby's 4th Birthday Party!!
This year Gabby wanted a Pirate Party! It was actually a nice change up from princess and Tinkerbell!

This is just a few of her little friends that came.  We had a few more come late, but the hats and patched only stayed on long enough for a photo!
Then we colored some Pirate color pages while we waited.

I love how her tongue is sticking out!  She is like her dad, when she is concentrating really hard, the tongue comes out!  She is trying really hard to stay in the lines!

We played "Pin the Patch on the Pirate." Please don't judge my art work!! :) ....the kids loved it!  If you can't tell, it is Izzy from the Disney show, "Jake and the Neverland Pirates."
Then we had a scavenger hunt that took the kids outside and around the house to find clues that lead them to the garage where there was a box/treasure chest of goodies for them to take home!
 Then pizza for lunch.

Opening presents, and then cup cakes before sending them home!

This girls is crazy, and hilarious, and sweet!  I love my Gabby Girl!  I hope your birthday was everything you wanted! I can't believe she start pre-school in a few weeks!  She is just getting too big!

Schrammparents Send-off

It was an emotional morning.  We were lucky enough to spend an extra week with the Schrammparents, but it had come to an end. We said our good-byes and then I took them to the airport. It was sad to see them off but they will do great things!!!

Happy Fourth!!

(Dani fell twice, two days in a row, and scabbed up her face.)

The 4th of July was a great day.  We spent the morning at our annual neighborhood kid parade.  My parents were still here and were able to come.  Then we BBQed at our house and Schrammpa & Schramma were able to come up and visit from the MTC.  Later that evening Ben and I were able to go to the Stadium of Fire.  We went with Ben's cousin Nicole and her husband Nate. They had extra tickets that we bought from them.  But we got to see Carlie Rae Jeppson and Kelly Clarkson!!!  It was awesome!

The night before Lexi went into the MTC we decided to go to the Mount Timpanogos Temple.  It was a great way to spend the last night.
