Gabby is in Preschool!!

Today was Gabby's first day of preschool! This was one excited girl.  She has been patiently waiting for two years, watching Charley go, and wanting so bad to go herself.  But today was the day!  She was so excited to tell everyone.  I was so sad I only got one picture at the school.  My camera ran out of batteries. But I did catch a cute one with her little friend Alivia.  Alivia was the one that came to our house last year and did preschool with us.  And she only lives a few houses down and they are cute little friends.  It is good for Gabby to have a friend in her class!  I think it will make the transition a little easier for her.  I was a little sad while they walked the kids into the classroom, but no tears this time.  I think it was a little easier with the second kid.  But it is a big milestone for this little girl!  I am so proud of her, she will do awesome in school! She is such a smarty pants!

Now it is just Dani and mom at home!!!!!

School Shopping ~ Gabby

Gabby starts school this Tuesday!!!  Which means that it was her turn to go back to school shopping.  We got a babysitter for the other two girls while Ben and I took her to lunch.  Then we dropped Ben off at home, and her and I went and got her a few new outfits for school!  And can I tell you that this girls knows what she likes.  With Charley I could at least get her to try something on if I liked it. But there is no persuading Gabby! We walked through the little girls department at Kohl's and after 5 minutes she found one outfit and 2 shirts that she liked. Everything else I would hold up she told me no. She wouldn't even let me talk her into anything, or even just trying on things for fun.  She told me, "Mom, I like what I like!" ...I think she was getting annoyed with me trying to make her try stuff on.  But I have to say, what she picked out totally fit her little personality.  No frilly stuff for her, she's a Diva!

It is tradition that the girls have to try on their new clothes for Dad when we get home.   What do you think?....do you think she has enough personality?!!

After Tuesday, it will be just Dani and I in the morning for 4 hours every day!!! I am also on 2 different carpools :)  My 15 trips to the school every week picking and dropping off the girls got cut to only 5 times a week with the carpools!  I am pretty excited!

Dani & Charley

 Crazy girl!
Charley is at Nana & Grandpa's house for a few weeks.  She is having sooo much fun, but I miss her.  They are spoiling her, and probably wont want to come home, but she is such a good girl.  I am glad she is getting so much attention, and a little vacay!

Gabby-Itty Bitty Soccer

Gabby had Itty Bitty soccer the last two weeks.  She is my little sporty girl!  I was actually impressed with her soccer skills for only being 4 years old!  She was all about getting after the ball and scoring!  She even made a few goals.

All the kids took turns being goalie.  This was Gabby when she first started out as goalie.  But she was scored on twice.  So what do you think this girl did to solve that problem?!?!?!?!?....
.....That's right.... She layed on the ground so the ball wouldn't go past her.  Smart girl! It worked!  The next time someone tried to score, she blocked it!  I went over and told her goalies are supposed to stand up, but she told me "But mom it worked, I stopped a goal!" I guess she is right.  All you goalies should take some pointers from this diva!
Today was their last day, so it was kinda like a party today.  They got to play with a parachute at the end.

 My little soccer diva!
