Pre Schramm Reuntion

From Omaha I flew with the girls to Charlotte, NC for the Schramm reunion.  We were there a few days early along with the Bartletts. We were even there a few days before Ben was supposed to arrive. So, we decided to have a little fun before the beach, and took the girls to the children's museum there.

 We were able to spend an afternoon with the Perez cousins.

And of course see my sweet Grandpa (my dad's dad).

Zendejas Reunion 3

 My cute grandparents. (my mom's parents) We went to visit them one day. My uncle Eddie was there that day to help with the yard work, so we all pitched in.

 We found passes on groupon for Papio Fun Plex.  We rode the go-carts, played mini golf, lazer tag!!, and the boys hit the batting cage. We felt like kids again!

Zendejas Reunion

I know this was way back in June, but I wanted to make sure I posted about it so I can put it in my books I have been making of my blog.  

This summer we were gone for a month. And the first stop on our trip was Omaha.  Me and the girls drove out by ourselves for our first Zendejas Reunion.  We decided to stay in Omaha this time and do all of the fun touristy things.....Zoo, CWS, Three Happiness, Fun Plex, we went swimming, had game night and soda tasting.  It was a packed week!  Ben couldn't make it because he had to work.  He was meeting us in NC the following week for the Schramm Reunion, and couldn't take that much time off. And Spencer couldn't make it because he had school.  But other than that, we had all of our family there!  It was fun!  Maybe next time we can catch everyone.

I tried to post the other day, and blogspot told me my picture limit was up....so I have to delete a few years before I can post.

Happy Halloween

 At Charley's school parade and party! Gabby  had playgroup today, so Dani and I were able to go see her and help with the party.

 Trick or treating at Aunt Kays house!....it is one of our Halloween traditions.  I didn't have the heart to make Dani a zombie, so I made her a tutu out of the leftover fabric from Charley's dress.

After we went to Kays house we went to a friends house for dinner, then we all went trick or treating together.

 Dani only lasted a few minutes before she was done.  So I took her back home with Ben, and she helped pass out candy.

The girls and their loot!....they are getting cooler and cooler things every year.  One house was passing out flash lights.  One had whistles.   One house had bags of chips.  One had a goody bag with pencils and stamps and a pad of paper.  .....our neighborhood is cool!

Oh, and Gabby said her head had to be like that because she was a fairy princess, and that is what they do....I did not know that, did you?

It was a super busy day....but it was a great day.  The weather was in the 70's so we didn't even trick or treat with jackets on! The girls had a sugar highs when they went to bed, and mom and dad crashed early! ....Halloween really should be on a Friday, so I can sleep in the next day....seriously!

Halloween Party

 Charley wanted to be a witch this year.  I am so proud of her costume, I made it myself!  I altered a few patters, and was up late a few nights, but she sure does look cute!

 Gabby was easy.  She wanted to wear her new Cinderella dress, but she also wanted to be a fairy princess.  Bought a pair of wings at the dollar store and called it good! She was pretty happy about it.

 And then there is my little zombie.  Ben decided he gets at least one girls to dress.  And since Dani could careless, she was it!  But they do look good!  It was a big hit with our ward.  She had our old teeth passy too, but I didn't get a picture with it in.  But while we were at the party, she threw it down on the ground and it broke. I'm okay with that!

Halloween kinda snuck up on me this year.  I realize a few days ago that our ward party was so soon....so in the mix of me getting the girls all ready, I didn't get a chance to get something for me.  So I was the odd one out yesterday not dressed up.

We went to Cornbelly's on Monday night for family night with the girls.  We were there for about 3 hours, and we still didn't get to do everything they had to do.  Last year we tried to do the corn maze, but it was an epic fail, so this year we didn't even try!  They had games, playgrounds, pig races, hay rides, train rides, a haunted house.....and more.  We love it there!

After our afternoon of pampering!  The girls got their hair, nails and make-up done while mom's got a manicure.

Emily and Schramma just left.  Our house is so quite without everyone.  Poor Ben had 8 girls here this week.  Good thing he is used to it!  Schramma was out here in UT to go to her brother's wedding. So we were able to convince Emily to come out too.  We actually meet Emily in Vegas over the weekend.  Sadly, I didn't get any pictures of our little vacation.  But we had so much fun in Vegas.  It was a quick trip, but fun to get a way.  When we got back Schramma came back from the wedding, and it began our girls week! It was a marathon week trying to fit everything in, we got pampered, went to the park, had a picnic, went to the library, visited Aunt Liz.  And the girls were up until 10 giggling in their rooms....it was nice when the girls went to bed....they are all full of energy!....and Ben was able to go golfing with his mom!

Now we need to plan our next trip to CA!
