Dani...

....just trying to keep up with her sisters!

Football Block Party!

Our BYU table.  We had a UofU table, but we no one wanted to decorate it, so it just had a red table cloth! ...I know there isn't much on there now, but it was over flowing with food on it by the time the night was over!
The cool drinks Kristen made!  ....she made the red part of the drink as small as possible!.... :) (all the mom's planning our party were BYU fans!....we were a little bias in our decorating!)

Ben and Steve hanging up the sheet to watch the big game.
Some of the neighbor kids waiting for the party to begin!

I LOVE our little neighborhood!  There are tons of kids to play with, and the mom's are all amazing.  We decided that for the big BYU v. UofU football game, we were going to have a big block party and watch it on a projector in the cul de sac. We decorated the tables, and had everyone bring food in the color of their team they were cheering for. Someone even brought out their popcorn machine!  We had everyone dress up, and prizes for best dressed!  The game was on with huge speakers that could be heard down the street! Kids playing everywhere and everyone having fun sitting on blankets and chairs in the street watching the game.  With kids, we had close to 100 people in our little cul de sac.  It was a blast!  And despite the loss, it was a fun time!

What we have been up to...

One Saturday we ventured out on a little hike in Pleasant Grove.  It was about a mile round trip, but the trail ended at a cool little water fall.  Our little girls were troopers and made it the whole way, and they loved it!
We had some really good friends that recently moved a little south of us, but still come up to visit. The came up last Thursday and call and we went to the dino museum with them.
Charley has been doing amazing in school.  This year they are sending home notes for positive and negative behavior.  If it is a positive note then when the note is signed and returned to school, she gets a prize at the front office.  This note was sent home last week.  So proud of her!
My little brother made Living Legends!!! ...so excited for him, he is going to have so much fun.  His first performance was part of "EvaDance."  All of the performing groups in the School of Dance showcased a few numbers.  Living Legends did a hula and Aztec.  Ruben was the Conch shell blower!  :)  But he still got free tickets for being in the show, so Lexi, Charley and I went.  After about 15 minutes in to the show, Charley leans over to me and says, "Mom, this is so cool, thanks for bringing me."  Love her!  Her favorite was the ballroom dance numbers.  After the show she wanted to go and say hi to them.  She loved their pretty dresses!  .....however, when she saw Ruben she was a little scared of him in his costume!

Playgroup

Gabby has been quite the busy little lady lately.  On Tuesdays and Thursdays we do preschool with a little girl across the street. And on Wednesdays she does play group with these 3 other little girls.  We have been rotating houses, and today was our turn to host play group!  So we decided to have a princess tea party.  Schramma & Schrammpa gave Gab this pretty tea set for her birthday....and we used the princess table and chairs Nana & Grandpa gave her.  And each girl  picked out a princess dress to wear.  We made gingerbread cookies in Charley's Easy Bake Oven last night, and had those with pink lemonade. And we took a few pics.  Gab said she wanted a dance party too....so we did that along with the Princess board game.  It was a hit!
