Halloween Party

Charley wanted to be a witch this year.  I am so proud of her costume, I made it myself!  I altered a few patters, and was up late a few nights, but she sure does look cute!
Gabby was easy.  She wanted to wear her new Cinderella dress, but she also wanted to be a fairy princess.  Bought a pair of wings at the dollar store and called it good! She was pretty happy about it.
And then there is my little zombie.  Ben decided he gets at least one girls to dress.  And since Dani could careless, she was it!  But they do look good!  It was a big hit with our ward.  She had our old teeth passy too, but I didn't get a picture with it in.  But while we were at the party, she threw it down on the ground and it broke. I'm okay with that!
Halloween kinda snuck up on me this year.  I realize a few days ago that our ward party was so soon....so in the mix of me getting the girls all ready, I didn't get a chance to get something for me.  So I was the odd one out yesterday not dressed up.

Cornbellys

 Welcome to Cornbelly's!
 Lots of BIG slides
 King of the Haystack!
 Deep Fried Snickers......YUMMMMM!!!!
 Smooches!!
the Princess Pumpkin Coach.....with my little princesses.

We went to Cornbelly's on Monday night for family night with the girls.  We were there for about 3 hours, and we still didn't get to do everything they had to do.  Last year we tried to do the corn maze, but it was an epic fail, so this year we didn't even try!  They had games, playgrounds, pig races, hay rides, train rides, a haunted house.....and more.  We love it there!

family

Dani's first time on a swing, and she was so happy!

 Our park and picnic-tea party
Story time at the library.  The theme was "silly monsters"

After our afternoon of pampering!  The girls got their hair, nails and make-up done while mom's got a manicure.

Emily and Schramma just left.  Our house is so quite without everyone.  Poor Ben had 8 girls here this week.  Good thing he is used to it!  Schramma was out here in UT to go to her brother's wedding. So we were able to convince Emily to come out too.  We actually meet Emily in Vegas over the weekend.  Sadly, I didn't get any pictures of our little vacation.  But we had so much fun in Vegas.  It was a quick trip, but fun to get a way.  When we got back Schramma came back from the wedding, and it began our girls week! It was a marathon week trying to fit everything in, we got pampered, went to the park, had a picnic, went to the library, visited Aunt Liz.  And the girls were up until 10 giggling in their rooms....it was nice when the girls went to bed....they are all full of energy!....and Ben was able to go golfing with his mom!

Now we need to plan our next trip to CA!

G-A-B-B-Y

We have "school" twice a week with Gabby!  We have been really good about doing it so far.  This summer I told the girls that we had to do an hour of school twice a week.....that lasted a whole week before I "forgot" or we just got to busy to do it. Next year Gabby can go to the preschool at the elementary, where Charley went.  The preschool there is only offered for the year before they start kindergarten.  Gabby's birthday is in late July.  She will be one of the young kids in her class.  I can technically hold her back an extra year if I think she isn't ready....but this girl is ready!  She is even starting to learn sounds of letters.  She isn't ready to read quite yet, but she is learning, and loves it!  Lately, she learned how to write her name....and now writes it everywhere!  We are her nursery teachers, and when she draws a picture, she insists on writing her name by herself.  She is getting really good at it!

She is already small for her age, so it seems weird to me that she will be in school next year.  Love her!!!!!

Busy Weekend...

Saturday morning, a neighbor and I took our girls (except Dani) to get pampered at the cosmetology school behind Thanksgiving Point.  The girls got the "princess package"....hair, nails, and make-up done, and us mom's got a mani/pedi.  It was sooo much fun.  Since we were already by TP we went and got ice cream, and they were having a harvest festival just outside, so we walked around.

When we got home we headed off to Boondocks for lunch and games for Ben's work party.  Love his work!  It was so much fun.
I got home from Boondocks just in time to change and head out the door to go up to SLC for the RS General Conference in the Conference Center!!  It was fun to see my sister!...and it was great to listen to all the great talks.

The next morning Brooktynn and Ryan came over for breakfast, then we headed to church.  After church we had Ruben and Lexi over for dinner then My Aunt Sharon and her kids came to stay the night!!!  I love it when family comes to stay...even if is just for a night.

Cousin time

My sister was in town this past weekend.  But her husband and son were here all week.  And I got to watch my little nephew while my brother in law got some work done.  We had a full fun day.....and since we don't really have any boy toys at our house, we decided to take RyJ out to the Dinosaur Museum!  It made me wish I had family closer.  I wish I could watch him more, or any of my nieces or nephews.
