Schramm Family reunion 2013

It is pretty hard to get back to reality after coming from a place like Topsail. The week was perfect.  We got to spend some pretty good quality time with some really cool people at a pretty cool place.

The annual Schramm Family reunion was a few weeks ago.  We flew in NC on Thursday night and drove out to the beach Friday and were there through the next Friday.  Ben's parents bought their beach house to have a place for their family to get together, and so we have our reunions there every year.  This year was especially fun b/c everyone was there.  We all wanted to spend some quality time with the Schrammparents before they left on their 2 year mission to Chile for our Church.

Some of the highlights:
~the girls playing with cousins
~cousin's puppet show
~GNO favorite things party
~movies
~The Big Fish Schrammpa caught
~fireworks
~smore's
~desserts every night & 20 + lbs of candy....seriously.
~Throwing a big log (Schrammlympics)
....and i may have to add more later as I remember everything.

We started the drive back Friday morning.  We flew there, and drove the Schrammparents car back to UT.  We are going to sell Ben's car so we can buy the Schrammparents car.  We made it to TN the first night and stayed with Courtney's family, the Bronson's, at their new pretty house.  Then Saturday we left TN and drove to NE to stay with my parents.  Some of my siblings came to town to listen to my sister Lexi give her farewell talk in Church, so we decided to stay for that as well. .....which was a great talk.  She really is going to be a great missionary.  We left right after church to head back to UT. We go in Monday morning at 3am.....so tried!  But the Schrammparents flew into UT Monday afternoon.  And will be here until this coming Monday when they enter the MTC.

We are pretty lucky to get to spend an extra week with them!

They will go into the MTC Monday, and then that night my family will come in to drop Lexi off at the MTC on Wednesday.

It is a busy missionary week.

PS....thanks to all my sister-in-laws for all the pictures.  :)
