Princess Ball

All three girls, Dani trying to pose like Gabby.

 Daddy and his pretty dates
All three girls.

I love our elementary school.  This past weekend the PTA put on a "Princess Ball" fundraiser.....aka....a Daddy/daughter dance.  The girls had heard about it at school and were so excited to go.  Charley had her dress picked out for weeks before.  We spent Saturday afternoon getting the girls ready.  They had a blast, and I'm pretty sure Ben did too!

My little models

All the girls in the little photo shoot.
Charley is in the Grey and white, and Dani is in the teal and white.
Gabby

The girls have done this a couple of times.  And we do this because the lady who owns the store is a good friend of ours!  So far the girls have modeled for her maxi skirts, her leggings, and this past week she had the girls do a photo shoot for some pants with some ruffles. And in the next few weeks she wants the girls to do a shoot for her new bathing suits she designed!  She is a very talented lady!

NYC

Back in January, Ben and I went to NYC with Calvin and Courtney.  This was supposed to be my 30th Birthday trip.  I didn't get to take one when I actually turned 30 because 5 weeks before I turned 30, I had Dani.  And there was no way I was leaving my tiny baby to go on a trip.  Plus, recovering from Dani was extra hard.  So we waited, and finally went.  And ever since Cal and Court lived in Utah, we have been talking about doing a trip together, and it just happened to work out to where they could come!  It was a blast.  We went to two shows (Matilda and Pippen), walked the Brooklyn Bridge, went to the Met, hanks to my little brother who lives there!  He took us to a couple cool places!  And it was nice to be able to see him.  Oh, and we ate a LOT....really, we ate a TON!  But it was oh so good!  And we also bought me a purse on canal street....one of the good ones, where I had to follow a little Chinese lady 5 blocks off of Canal street and pulled out some pictures from her pants.  And then when we did the exchange it was so fast.  It was a crazy operation.

We went all over NYC....We really did pack in a lot, and it has only been a few weeks, but I forget everything that we did.  I do remember eating at one cupcake place, and then hoping on the subway to eat at another cupcake place to compare the two. YUMM!  We were also able to go to a sacrament meeting before heading back home.

And our little girlies were safe and sound at home with my mom! The girls had a blast with Nana.

**The pictures were all taken by either Ben or Courtney!  Thanks!

Charley is 7!

I just got home from our ward baptisms.  I was getting a little teary-eyed just thinking that this time next year, my little baby will be in that room getting baptized. It is an exciting thought, but very scary at the same time.  Seriously, who would have thought time really could go this fast.  And really, do I look or act old enough to even have a daughter that old!? haahaa!!  We did a little birthday party the day before her actual birthday because her grandparents and aunt/uncle and cousins were here.  My mom got me a cake pop maker, so Charley helped decorate some cake pops instead of a birthday cake.  It was a cute little idea, and they were easy to make.

On her birthday we didn't do much.  But today, Saturday, we took her, Gabby, and a few of her friends to the hair school for the princess package (hair, nails, and make-up). And then we took them to lunch.  I was in such a rush this morning trying to get everything ready for me to go to the baptisms this morning, I forgot my camera for the salon.  I wanted a picture with her and her friends, but we just got one of Charley and Gabby after they came home.  They both like the pink eye shadow, and purple nails!  What a big girl. I am blessed and grateful to be the mom of 3 amazing and beautiful little girls!

The week after Christmas

My parents, and sister Jordan came to visit after Christmas, alone with my other sister Brooktynn and her family.  We spent the week hanging out. We did a lot of shopping, but we also spent an afternoon playing basketball and letting the kids ride bikes in the church gym (one of the perks of being Primary President....I get a key to the church), and another afternoon at the Dinosaur Museum, and getting ice cream. A good time was had by all!

Christmas Morning

Christmas was just us this year. My sister and her family were here visiting, but they were with her husbands family.  We started a tradition of closing off our stairs with wrapping paper for the girls to run through in the morning.  We spent most of the day playing with new toys and watching movies.  Around dinner time, we were all getting antzy in the house.  So instead of me making Christmas dinner, we decided to go out to eat.  There are very few places open to eat on Christmas, but we found one.  We actually loved it!  I didn't have to stress about making dinner, or cleaning it up.  And it was a fun way to get out of the house. It was perfect! We may do that every year!

Christmas was a very nice and relaxing day. I am grateful for my sweet girls, and my amazing husband!

The Night before Christmas...

Magic reindeer food.  Gabby got from school for the reindeer.  She poured it in a big pile on our drive way, so the snow wouldn't cover it!

Milk, cookies, carrots and a note for Santa

Christmas Jammies.

*Charley actually opened her PJ's last week.  She had pajama day at school, and got to watch "the Polar Express."  The night before as she was trying to decide on what to wear, she came to me crying.  She told me all of her pajama's didn't fit her right, and she did't have anything to wear.  It was so funny that she was so worried about it.  So I told her she could open her pajama's early if she promised she wouldn't be sad when the other girls opened theirs.  She was so excited to have something new and cute to wear to school for pajama day!

Christmas Sunday

I didn't get the girls any "Christmasy" dresses this year. It was actually last minute I found some skirts for them, but they are pink.  And dani's cute dress is the dress she got from Aunt JoJo for her birthday!  It is super cute on her!  We put a cute little pink sweater over it, since it was snowy.  Merry Christmas from the UT Schramm's!

School Christmas program

The girls did awesome at the school Christmas Singing Program!  It was so fun to watch both girls!  (Charley was the top left corner of the kids. Gabby is a little easier to see, she has the red start and red skirt on!)
