Today was a SUCCESS!!!!....Charley used the potty twice today! After 4 accidents(we put Tinkerbell panties on her...a new tactic we decided to try), she finally pooed in the potty!!!...then after her nap, we put her panties back on (we put a diaper back on while she slept). After about a half hour she ran to the bathroom and told us she had to pee, and then went!!!! After the morning of sitting in the bathroom for what seemed like hours, she finally caught on! And the best part, she told us she needed to go!!! We're not quite done yet, I know we still have a long way to go, but I feel a lot better...not so frustrated!
It's only 5pm, so we still have the rest of the day, but I am so excited I needed to tell everyone!!!

its really the best way to do it--letting them tell you when theyre ready. the only plus i can see to "deciding" its time for your kids to be potty trained is saving money on diapers. but shes probably not going through that many anyway. i almost preferred diapers as opposed to being potty trained when jonas "graduated." all the sudden i was having to stop in the middle of grocery/shopping trips to make a run for the bathroom 1 or 2 times. its still that way, but oh well. congrats on todays success and good luck!
Yay Charley! How exciting:) Maybe she can rub off on Chenoa this week. haha. Chenoa's good at telling us after the fact...but isn't too good about predicting it. I keep thinking it would be so nice to not have to buy 2 sizes of diapers...so we'll have to start working on it!
